But the bigger picture here is about climate change and resource depletion. And the failure of industrialized capitalism, which is extractive, Exploitative. Rent-seeking. It doesn’t nourish, create, care, give birth to, just manufactures lowest-common-denominator stuff and literally turn life into death: plastic, fossil fuels, forests ripped down, oceans polluted, skies full of carbon, rivers turned to poison. They take without giving, As the resources of the planet dwindle, in anticipation, warlords and oligarchs start conflicts to try and seize what of them they can.".
